ABOUT

Ishaan is a composer from New Delhi, India, currently based in Los Angeles, California. He has a Masters in Music – Screen Scoring from the USC Thornton School of Music and a certification in Audio Engineering and Music Production from the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication (SACAC), New Delhi.

Before working as a film compsosrr, Ishaan performed as a keyboardist and pianist at notable venues and festivals across India, including NH7 Weekender, Kappa TV, and Sofar Sounds. His early career also brought him to Mumbai film industry, where he contributed to the music of several feature films and television shows such as Shukranu, Special Ops, Brahmāstra, and The Kung Fu Master, along with a range of production music tracks.

Ishaan has composed music for a number of short films and independent features, with selections featured at international festivals such as Cannes Film Festival 2025, College Television Awards 2026, Student BAFTAs, DOC NYC, LA Shorts, and others. His latest work includes a feature “The Fire And The Moth” available on Amazon Prime Video. He continues to contribute to the production music world with credits in shows like Homestead Rescue and Naked and Afraid, which air on Discovery and stream on platforms including Amazon, Disney+, and HBO Max.

His credits as a scoring assistant and additional writer include – Wuthering Heights, Fortnite, Hello Kitty Island Adventures, Violent Ends and more.

His music has been recorded by ensembles and orchestras featuring Los Angeles’ leading session musicians at studios such as the Warner Bros. Eastwood Scoring Stage, EastWest Studios, and Evergreen Studios. Ishaan’s background allows him to work across multiple roles in the music-making process, including as a composer, orchestrator, music producer, mixer, and arranger.
